Why are people so obese?

Obesity is a world-wide problem. Obesity has been spreading like an epidemic in countries like China, Japan, and even Korea, where it was never considered a worrysome issue before. No one seems to be immune to the ever increasing waistline. How come we are becoming so fat as a species? There answer is really just inadequate nutrition. We are not taking enough care of our nutrition ,actually,severely lacking in caring about our eating patterns ,food preferences and quantity of food intake. It is easy to see why obesity is on the rise when fast food restaurants are in almost every town, portion sizes continue to increase in size, and foods contain fat, sugar, and preservatives. An answer does exist, though it can only be found by learning about proper nutrition.
We are too focused today on the good taste of food that we forget that it is just a fuel for our body. Food is what gives us the energy we all need to sustain us throughout the day. When our bodies have an overabundance of food, it is stored as fat. When taking fat into consideration, our body's are merely acting as they were designed. It is not our body's way of getting back at us or being spiteful. Aside from preventing starvation, fat basically provides heat to our body and insulation to our bones, internal organs and even to our muscles. Eating exorbitantly without following a daily exercise regime, causes our body to turn excess calories in to fat. With the vast amounts that people eat in today's world, fat builds up alarmingly quick.
Balance Is Important
Balance is at the center of good nutrition. You will not need to forget about your favorite foods, desserts, and special treats. To avoid getting overweight you will need to balance these carefully. When taking nutrition into consideration, you should eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, lean meats as well as taking some supplements such as multi-vitamins. Treats and desserts can be used to reward yourself for sticking to your nutrition plan all week. When it comes to a healthy weight remember as long as you exercise enough to burn off extra calories you can splurge once or twice a week.
If You're Obese
If you feel you're overweight and you have a desire to shed some pounds, the only way it can be accomplished is with a healthy diet and exercise. A balanced diet means that you eat smaller amounts but more often. (for instance, eating six times every day) and take at least a half hour of exercise 3 to 5 times a week, and that weight will come off in no time.
It remains that there is no quick remedy for losing weight. It can be a difficult process. But you don't have to kill yourself with exercise like the people on the TV informercials do. To lose weight you must have your nutrient needs met and then a few walks around the block will help to burn enough calories to lose the weight.
